"New Plug, Who Dis? is about life mane. Tha cover represents a transitional period in a person's life. This isn't just some street shit. This is for everybody. Everybody can relate to this. We've all been in situations that we wanted to escape before. We've all went through tough times & just wished we could change things. Nobody likes pain, but pain is our friend. It's been tha only constant in our lives. We're no strangers to struggling. We're no strangers to trying to see if ends could see each other because they never met. I feel like it's our obligation to take what we've learned & let you know some of our lessons. We don't want you to just think that we're just out here living & we're always on some street shit. We want to let you know what happens when you try to venture off into business, what happens with friends, relationships & people you thought you could trust & how you deal with that & what you say to deal with that because it's real life. You could do something to somebody & they might come kill your ass. That's how it goes, but everybody doesn't know that. We feel like it's our responsibility to try & fill that void. When I look at different tragedies that go on, one thing comes to my head: a lack of leadership. Not to say we're all perfect, but even tha OG is going to make sure tha block is straight so we have to make sure tha game knows that when you get done trapping, you need to know how to escape it. You need an exit strategy. You need to know how you're going to evolve.

Please don't miss tha point. Trap means to Take Risks And Prosper. When I speak about trapping, your "trap" is whatever job you work, whatever your passion is, wherever you go to get your money. Whether you work at McDonalds, a Fortune 500 company or you sell drugs. This is something everybody can apply to their life. You have to evolve. You can't do something 20 times & each time is like before. That's what this is about. I once heard Lionel Richie say this: "I don't care if you're a thug or a dealer or whatever, but some day you're going to have to tell somebody you love them & I got you." I feel tha same way. No matter if you're in college, you work at a restaurant, or you in tha streets, some day you're going to want more for yourself. One day you're going to need some advice & we got you. One day you're going to want to do something different. One day you're going to hit a rough spot & feel like you can't get past it....but we got you.
So, it's New Plug, Who Dis? meaning new life & new opportunities. Savo's on a speedboat leaving all of tha bullshit behind. It's in tha rearview & we're not worrying about yesterday. We're not worried about anybody's opinions. We're striving for better with this. We're grinding for this. Savo made tha music, but Boss, Pede, & Peso were with him everyday. That's Cloud 9 family so they played a major part in this too. Tee A&R'd it & he made all his resources available for this. That's Winner's Circle Empire. WCE...that's family too. They're a part of this too. Everybody named here stayed up late & promoted tha music too. They put they're time & lives in it too. They're invested in this too.
