Kymcci is a Sound Designer/ Artist/ and Producer from Savannah, Ga. Orginally fashioning himself as a Hip-Hop artist, Kymcci's sound branched out to reflect his interest in other genres and artists such as Daft Punk, Bad Brains, PM Dawn, and Bob Marley. The resulting sound is a swing between up beat dance with rap breaks accompanied by reggae influenced pantomime and growling metal style vocals. Kymcci's music satirizes the contemporary musical zeitgeist by putting concepts like money, cars, clothes and hoes on the dance floor and telling people to dance their dreams come true. His music is a combination of Neo-Funk, Soul Electronica, and high energy Grunge Pop dubbed 'Nu_Wave'. Kymcci graduated from internationally known art school SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Majoring in Sound Design with a minor in Film and Television in 2012. On stage, Kymcci brings a complete performance with him being his own Dj and mix artist with live MPC remixing and scratching. Much like a fusion of Drake and Steve Aoki. Fans enjoy Kymcci's easy listening dance melodies coupled with hard hitting social commentary.
